Highway Three Solutions was brought in to assist with an upgrade of an inherited middle tier (9.0.4) environment to 10GR2 (10.1.2.3), as well as implementing the middle tier in a reverse proxy environment with a Siteminder SSL upgrade. Highway Three performed middle tier installation and configuration, documented the operational processes and environment, and assisted developers with migrating their Forms/Reports and java applications to the new environment. Highway Three Solutions advised the GeoBC team throughout the process and ensured there was a smooth transition back to their operational staff at the termination of their involvement.

This project had many challenges, including the number of applications in the original environment and the number of different vendors involved. Highway Three assisted the many vendors with the transition to the new environment including reviewing their java
code and making code recommendations.
