About the Company

Highway Three Solutions is an IT consulting company formed in 2001, and based in Victoria, BC. We focus on delivering quality solutions using the technologies best suited to our client requirements.

Our team is dedicated to delivering quality web applications in a timely fashion. We have partners who provide the project management and design resources, while we provide the development effort.

We can provide application and infrastructure recommendations, as well as executing the implementation of the design in your environment. Our infrastructure experience ranges from large scale projects with high availability and load balancing, to single server deployments for smaller applications. An integral part of our deliverables includes documentation of the application and enterprise quality release management processes.

About the People

 

Karen Fishwick

Karen is an Oracle Middleware specialist with a Bachelor of Science degree backed by 12 years of experience in information technology. She has strong skills in middleware infrastructure/architecture, database administration, PL/SQL, database design/modeling, application tuning, and backup/recovery. Her expertise is focused around Oracle applications including Application Server, RDBMS, B2B (ebXML), OID, and OC4J.

 

Mike Davison

Mike Davison has a BSc in Computer Science and has been developing software for over 7 years. He has a strong background in application modelling and implementation. Recently he has specialized in development using .Net, leading the development of both large and small projects.

 

Jason Davidson

Jason is an experienced developer who designs software that is reliable, well-documented, and user-friendly. Jason has 10 years experience in IT, with strong object oriented design and implementation skills, and over 8 years experience building and developing business critical web applications. Jason is experienced in the full life cycle of the software design process including requirements definition, model creation, development, testing, and maintenance.

 

Warren Baker

Warren is an Oracle Pl/SQL and Reports developer, with over 10 years of experience working on data warehousing applications. He has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and has been consulting for Provincial government since 1997. Since 2000, Warren has been involved with a government initiative to assemble Health data in a warehouse for research purposes. He has developed Microstrategy reports to assist the user community in accessing the data, as well as working on the ETL for the loading of the warehouse.

 

Andrew Bradford

Andrew has been developing web applications and administering Unix servers for 5 years. He has worked in the .NET/SQL Server environment as well as extensively in LAMP. Andrew has recently been doing data modelling in Oracle Designer, Java web applications, and PHP application interfacing for Facebook.
